The Solar FlexRack has been on the market for 3 years. Our parent company, Northern States Metals, has been in business for 37 years.
Does Solar FlexRack comply with Buy America ACT and Ontario Domestic Content Requirements?

More than 420 MW total in North America (includes 150 MW in Canada).
What products does Solar FlexRack offer?
Ground Mount, Roof Mount, Tracker, and FlexRack Utility Ground Mount Solar FlexRack systems; the SmartTilt Bracket; the SFR Solar Quik-Cart.
What is your lead time?
6-10 weeks depending on current backlog.
Does your solar rack system work with any panel?
Yes. Multiple configurations are available, including custom.
Can Solar FlexRack provide engineered drawings?
Yes. Solar FlexRack has an in-house PE and engineering team. We can provide wet-sealed, stamped drawings for all 50 US states and Canada.
What wind and snow loads can the Solar FlexRack accommodate?
Wind and snow loads change to any wind and snow loads can be accommodated.
What tilt angle can the Solar FlexRack accommodate?
Most any tilt angle can be accommodated. Our in-house engineering team can recommend the ideal tilt angle based on the project location.
What materials are used in the Solar FlexRack?
The vertical rails are aluminum and the horizontal rails are typically a G90 pre-galvanized steel , with the capabilities of being increased to as much as G235 if desired. All our hardware is corrosion-resistant steel and our clips are aluminum.
As we custom design every solar rack system specifically for each project, we will need some details on the project. At minimum, we’ll need to know:
- the type of system you are requesting (ground-mount, roof-mount, etc.)
- the PV module that will be used
- the project location
- the tilt angle requested
- for a ground-mount system, the type of foundation being used
- for a roof-mount system, whether it will be ballasted or penetrating

Does Solar FlexRack install the racking?
Solar FlexRack has a list of certified/preferred installers that have the experience to provide you with the most labor savings. In addition, Solar FlexRack sends out a Field Technician to each job site to oversee the installation at no extra charge.
