Solar FlexRack Introduces Two New Regional Executives

Solar FlexRack is excited to introduce the addition of two brand-new regional executives, expanding our team to meet the growing needs of new operational areas of the United States. Brian Coker is our new Senior Sales Executive taking over responsibilities for the Southwest and Hawaii, while Derek Gault is our new Senior Sales Executive taking over responsibilities for the Southeastern United States.

Coker has over a decade of experience in both commercial and utility scale solar project developments, with his most recent position as Western Regional Manager for Canadian Solar building his expertise on utility scale projects throughout the Western United States. His other experience includes sales and business development responsibilities at companies like LG Solar, Sharp Solar, BP Solar International, and Shell Solar, where he earned recognition for his exceptional sales and customer service skills.

Gault has more than five years of experience from his most recent sales position at DPW Solar, a subsidiary company of Preformed Line Products. In that position, he headed sales for solar mounting and solar racking products much like those that Solar FlexRack offers, and worked with other solar professionals like installers and distributors throughout the Southeastern and Midwestern United States. Gault has also held positions in companies like Dos-Sol Imports and the Minarik Corporation. He has also served as a Sergeant in the U.S. Marine Corps for five years.

“Both Brian and Derek have outstanding track records in successfully executing large, complex solar projects,” says Steve Daniel, our Executive Vice President of Sales. “They bring the end to end technical and project delivery skills that our EPC and installer partners value.”

We’re excited to bring Brian and Derek onboard as part of our ever-expanding team. We anticipate 2015 to hold another year of massive growth in the solar panel mounting and racking industry, and our team is ready for the opportunities and challenges to come! With more than 860 MW of installations in 27 states and four countries and a position ready for substantial growth in coming years, it’s an exciting time to be in the industry.
